Brian Kaschenoff was led to an interest in natural health by his own inclinations towards macrobiotics and how to stay healthy with plant-based foods after "making a disaster of my health on a crummy college diet and the fallout from the psychedelic revolution in San Francisco." Brian was naturally attracted to the green food aspect of simpleXity when he heard about it from his macrobiotic friends such as the early "big three" Richard France, Steve Gagné, and Mark Segars in 1986. Brian also liked the idea that he could start a business at home since at the time he was a single father of two small girls. In this case, he was highly motivated to support his family so he became a magnet for people interested in a similar program of implementing the inclusion of high quality wild foods, enzymes, and probiotics into their dietary regimen. Since this was the early stages of a renaissance of the growth of network marketing in the US, Brian's friends, Jean-Pierre Bressieux and Alan Joel, as well as many others, joined him to help create networks of people interested in bringing excellent plant-based whole food products to market.
In 1993, Brian became a Double Diamond and over the years he has continued his interest in this company and business and finds that at this time the company has progressed to become as good as it gets with the product line, the management, and the company in general. "I believe that this company is now better than it has ever been and is now one of the most outstanding network marketing companies in the world."
Vee and Demaris Drummond, two Boeing Company retirees, began eating the Super Blue Green Algae products in November of 1995. At that time, their only concern was to improve their own immune system. After eating the products for just a few months, people began asking what they were doing? It was then that they decided they could help others improve their health, so why not do the business?
They have been working on and off as IBAs in the business, and now with the new leadership, training, and Pay Plan, they are serious and working much more diligently at trying to enlarge their downline. Since they began eating the simpleXity products, their lives have changed dramatically. Both of them have been very healthy and full of energy. Their days begin early in the early morning and run until late at night. "People are always amazed that we are 72 years old. We do not use prescriptions of any kind. We depend on providing our body with the nutrients it needs through the blue-green algae products," say the Drummonds.
Lately, they realized that they were not focusing their attention on building a larger business. After taking time to re-evaluate what they hoped to build, they began taking all the different trainings, including STS. They were active members of Team Evergreen and learned so very much from the leadership of that team and the other team members.
The Drummond's comment, "We now know who we are, who we want to be, and where we want to go. We are busy talking to everyone and sharing the information with them that was shared with us almost sixteen years ago. It was that information that led us to the SBGA products and better health and more energy. And along the way, we are building a business and receiving a monthly check."
Marlo Kimmel started working with animals over 20 years ago because of her deep love for animals. From her earliest memories, she always had several "fuzzy family members" surrounding her and went out of her way to make sure that all of her animal acquaintances were well. She took her love and desire to help all animals and focused on developing her natural skills and abilities in this area. She is well known as an animal whisperer, trainer, and communicator in the US and Canada.
Marlo joined simpleXity around 17 years ago because of the algae. She knew it was the missing piece of the puzzle for her work. Her first algae customer was a bird, and the changes in that bird showed her she was right. That bird client had a "mom and dad," and they came into the business and signed up thousands of customers, just based on the incredible changes they saw in their own pet.
Marlo has found the products she can ethically promote to her clients that help to promote good health in their pets, and they can see it. It has made it much easier for her to handle any other issues that were going on these pets.
"I literally could not run my business successfully without the simpleXity products. They are a key component to my work. The first change I make with every pet is to put them on the products. When the owners see how well their pets do, they want the same for themselves, and then everyone wins. As one owner said to me, "I didn't tell you, but I started taking the algae with my dog, and I feel better now too!" Always sell the algae to your friends and their pets. They will be so grateful you did."
Steve Zarren, from Pikesville, Maryland, and originally from Brooklyn, NY, has a background as a corporate controller. A long-time Dodger fan, he always felt destined to overcome the "wait until next year" rant of the Dodgers. He felt his life was meant for a higher cause- but what?
Upon reaching his 50th birthday, he was stricken with blepharospasm or focal eyelid dystonia, a rare neurological movement disorder. After trying the "treatment of choice," Botox, he stopped it and found the algae within a few weeks. In the 6th week of taking the algae, he received the relief he sought and felt this was his destiny.
After 12 years of trying to convince the medical community and foundations of the benefits from the algae and conducting his own successful study through Johns Hopkins, Steven gave up on the medical community and continued on his own. Four years and five months later, he has two websites, four months in a row of 13 or more new PCs, with March and May at 20 and 21 respectively, and months of over $5,000 PRV, with May and June being over $11,000.
He does not expect assistance from those he has helped and will help; he plans to be a one-man force. Even when he began again, there were plans of utilizing the internet and grander results by expansion, but Charles Leslie, his up line, pulled back on the reins. He credits Charles and Deanna Leslie and Charles' upline, Donia Alawi, for their encouragement and valuable support. Without the help of these three individuals he would not have achieved what he has so far or what he plans to. Steve says to always have an inner motivation, a clear vision of his desire, and sympathy for the sufferers.
One of his most humbling moments came when he read an article in The Source displaying his picture next to simpleXity icon Russell Mariani. To be in the company of the others named in "Spotlight on Success" is truly an honor. It reminds him of the many singers who worked hard for many years to be recognized, and when they finally were, they would be depicted as "overnight successes."
Among his contributions to simpleXity are proposals for simplifying the manner of commissions, which he gained knowledge on due to his controllership background, AutoShip recommendations, and along with Charles Leslie, helps provide product liability coverage for all IBA's.
Steve says, "I thank Rollan for choosing me to be included with the success stories of the company, and I wish the ride to never stop."
Cathy Gualandri has a bachelor's degree from Illinois State University in Elementary Education and currently teaches third grade. She also serves as a consultant for Mother of Divine Grace School, guiding homeschooling parents and their children. She is also mother to six sons. She was first introduced to Super Blue Green algae in 1995 and has been consuming the products ever since.
Cathy says, "I have been so grateful for the algae and know how much it has helped me to stay healthy and accomplish all that I have been called to do. Watching what a difference it has made in our lives has made me a passionate advocate for helping other children and their families." Having two children in her 40s also prompted her to work on creating a niche website for expecting mothers especially over 40 years of age.
When she first started with the company, she built a strong network of people in Ohio, and since relocating to the Chicago area, her goal is to create a new team and become a leader in this area. Knowing she has the support of a committed upline, a superb, innovative company, and a new focus, she is confident that this will become a reality.
"Everyone in my family's life has been positively changed from someone sharing these products and this company with us. That is what I love so much about the network marketing industry. It is truly a model of service and has shown me that it is in giving that we receive," says Cathy, "I am looking forward to growing my business to the next level with a renewed strategy as I reach out with our great products, inviting more people to join simpleXity and our opportunity for health and wealth as a way to achieve their goals. Life really does start here!"
Jean-Pierre (JP) Bressieux is a Green Building Contractor and Energy Efficiency Specialist for residential and commercial buildings in Boulder, CO. He joined the company in 1990, reaching the Double Diamond business level in 1995. Currently an Associate Director with the company, he sees the health benefits from eating simpleXity's products and developing a lucrative network marketing business as being a winning combination for him.
JP is a crucial driving force for simpleXity miXers, and along with Sonny Alpern, they have been holding miXers each week and posting pictures and recaps to simpleXity's Facebook page to show others how to duplicate this lead generation method.
Born and raised in Portland, Oregon, Charlene Nitke is a second-generation simpleXity business builder. The story begins with her father, Ed Taylor, who suffered from the effects of malnutrition due to 3 ½ years as a POW during WWII. Because of this, in 1970, her mother, Eleanor, a visionary, searched and found an effective nutritional plan through MLM to combat his illness. She was pleasantly surprised when something called a "bonus check" came in the mail. Ed, Eleanor, Charlene, and her brother, Jim, were immediately hooked on the concept. A family partnership was formed, and their professional network-marketing journey began!
In early 1982, already having been to the top of two MLM companies, they experienced a life changing event. Ed was at the counter in a local café telling of his war ills when a man handed him a bottle of green liquid. The man said it gave him lots of energy. The Taylor family got in touch with the founders of what is now known as simpleXity. There was not yet a distinct way to market the algae-hmmm! Network Marketing seemed the perfect choice and was successfully introduced to the founders. With team effort, they developed the compensation plan, and the Taylor Family became the first distributors of simpleXity!
By calling the company's existing retail sales list, Eleanor and Charlene soon found one amazingly energetic man intrigued by sharing the product with others and receiving a bonus check. He wanted to get started. All other interested people on the list were signed under him to build our first line. His name was Showshawme. The next 12 years were spent building a base of IBAs, most of them still with us. One of Charlene's greatest inspirations is getting phone calls or emails from IBAs downline many levels deep wanting to chat and get to know their upline.
Another one of Charlene's goals is to bring understanding to woman over 50 that life can begin at any age and that nutrition can be introduced later in life and still be effective. She has been building her own website this year to bring nutritional awareness to woman over 50, along with a niche website to introduce the simpleXity products. She feels strongly that simpleXity is the perfect business for retirees; after all, her mother was 57 at the time the family started with simpleXity, and Charlene is now 63. By some standards that is retirement age, but by her standards, it's prime time to get started!!
She concludes by saying, "Network marketing is a lifestyle (our personal company name is Grand Lifestyles) that builds friendships, a social life with incredible entertainment, a feeling of security and well-being, a health model for endless generations, and residual income, so 'ALERT' your friends!"
Nancy Powell is an example of the power of persistence! Nancy started her algae-eating adventure in 1992 and her simpleXity home-based business a year later. Then,
within just 18 months, she achieved the level of Double Diamond-the highest rank in the company at the time. Ever since, Nancy has consistently been one of
simpleXity's busiest business associates. She has been a member of the Leadership Alliance Board, has and has provided inspiration through her consulting business,
Marketing with Heart, her book, The Green Book: The Directory of Business with Heart, and many newsletters and articles, such as the informative "SUPER Nutrition
for the Whole Family...Fido Too!" Although she shines as a motivational speaker, Nancy thinks of herself as a team player rather than a "star." Even though she
has outstanding leadership qualities, she is most comfortable being a behind-the-scenes, you-can-do-it motivator, and she relishes the opportunity to help others.
Her reputation for producing good ideas is well deserved. "I come from a long line of inventors," she says, "and good ideas are a trademark." Described by one of
her downline members as a combination of teacher, librarian, and missionary, Nancy is an intuitive health educator, a knowledgeable writer and collector of
health-related articles, and an enthusiastic proponent of edible microalgae-naturally!
Dr. Madalyn Ward joined simpleXity in 1992 after being introduced to it by her good friend Leta Worthington. As a conventional veterinarian, Dr. Ward was originally
skeptical about the products and business model but agreed to give both a try. After using the algae on her toughest cases, Dr. Ward became a convert. She also saw
the benefit of having business partners and building a strong customer base.
Partially due to her experience with the nutritional benefits of blue-green algae, Dr. Ward shifted her practice to a holistic model. In addition to her practice at Bear Creek Veterinary Clinic, she has written three books: Holistic Horsekeeping, Horse Harmony, and Horse Harmony: A Feeding Guide. She also has several websites and a blog.
Dr. Ward has been involved with simpleXity in many ways. She was a member of the Field Advisory Board for several years and participated in several presentations of the use of the products for animals. Dr. Ward has a very dedicated downline, for which she is very grateful. Her partner, Stephanie Yeh, has been a huge help to her in building an online presence to promote simpleXity products and the general holistic care of horses.
Jan Fitzpatrick, from Doylestown, Pennsylvania, joined simpleXity in 1990 and is currently titled as a Manager. She holds a bachelor's degree in Medical Technology
(chemistry and biology major) from Moorhead State University in Minnesota and is currently working as a holistic health practitioner with the desire to help improve others'
lives. In her experience working for Boehringer Mannheim for 8 years, she helped to introduce the concept of diabetics taking and managing their own blood sugars, which is
now the accepted way of managing diabetic health.
When Jan's second son, Joe, was born, she began staying home to take care of him and his brother, John, who was 3 years older. "When they were 2 and 5, each member of our family was in a health crisis. SimpleXity found us. To support our consumption and to share the great health benefits for other families, I started my simpleXity business," says Jan.
That was 21 years ago. Today, Jan says she is grateful for the continuing commission checks every month and currently has a niche website for animal health. Aside from her website, most of her time is spent integrating simpleXity products into her holistic practice, invibehealth, which utilizes natural technologies. Her current focus is programs to empower women over 50 to enjoy their new bodies and increase their energy, vitality, and brain power. Jan says, "simpleXity products are one of the key components to getting their bodies back into balance."
These strategies, combined with listening and asking the right questions, have made her a successful network marketer with a consistent and reliable income. "I feel that my greatest accomplishment is that my family is healthy, commissions are coming in every month, and I have helped to improve the lives of all the people and pets that have used the simpleXity products."
Cheryl Bogener began her simpleXity business fourteen years ago as a hobby, without plans to treat it strictly as her business. When she joined as an IBA, her dream
was to help those around her change their health-like hers was changed. She knew that by helping just one person feel better and be more alive that she had done her
job. Since discovering simpleXity, Cheryl's life has changed dramatically. She says, "I now have so much energy that sometimes I have to force myself to go to bed.
I have learned you are what you eat! I'm proud to say that in my mid-'60s I do not use any prescription medications of any kind; good health abounds."
After recognizing that her business intentions weren't focused strongly enough, Cheryl is now more attentive to the incredible business opportunity simpleXity offers-looking within herself to be a leader, growing her business, and reaching out to others who are like-minded. She points out, "My dream way back then was to be somebody, but now I realize I should have been more specific fourteen years ago. NOW I know it is all about my choices. Sometimes having an intention for our lives requires cooperation from ourselves and taking that personal effort is a transformational shift for the better."
Once she moved from waiting for something to happen to actually being involved and proactive, she created that moment in her life when change occured. Cheryl is now setting goals and reaching for them, not waiting for them to happen. She is currently working with her 1st and 2nd level IBAs to grow their businesses and to set goals and write them down. Last summer, she won a new Apple iPod for signing up the most people for that month in our Summer Sale-A-Bration and inviting others to monthly meetings to learn about this incredible business opportunity.
Products have been a strong focus recently. Her niche focus is on building her business by reaching out to children with learning disabilities (Autism and ADHD) and supporting parents who are looking for a higher quality of health for their child. Her niche site offers parents help to support their children's health with our wholesome SBGA products www.AutismandDiet.info.
Cheryl believes, "It is all about trusting in yourself, making changes, and committing to get the results you want for your life. Let's nourish ourselves and each other. Let's keep ourselves energized and vitalized in this present moment-moment by moment, day after day, and year after year. You are in business for yourself, not by yourself. SimpleXity's vision for us is "Life Starts Here"! Shall we begin?"
Wayne Myers has been a salesman in the construction and remodeling field for many years. Since moving to southern California, he has worked for the largest builder of
swimming pools in the Palm Springs area of California as a designer, salesman, and project manager.
Wayne was introduced to the simpleXity product line in 1991 when he was having health issues. Within 30 days of trying the products, he noticed such a vast improvement in his health that he began working the simpleXity business. Using a duplicable marketing system, by 1995 he achieved the highest level in the company's marketing plan. Wayne continued to work the business for a couple of years and then retired-but not from using the products.
With the change in management of simpleXity, it appeared to Wayne that the company was on its second momentum wave, due to the inspiration of Rollan Roberts II and his five core actions and ten core values. These ten core values have been Wayne's core values for many years, and along with the new tools and electronic training support, he has chosen to restart his business by spotlighting Parkinson's disease as his niche market.
Wayne's unwavering belief in what the products can do for one's health inspires him to continue sharing these products with others.

the history of the company.
Charlotte says that, "Simplexity Health and network marketing continues to serve as the vehicle for me to live my life purpose—serving others in health and well-being and discovering right livelihood; and as the lucrative financial support for my children and I. I look forward to building my business and especially supporting young adults to develop empowering alternatives to their income and lifestyle—they are our future. The best way to do that is to focus on reaching the top of the Pay Plan and to support members of my team to do the same– the number of people we will touch and the lives we will impact is exciting. To have a healthy sustainable world physically and financially is an inspiring vision."

product recommendations. All of this works so well because they are highly effective at driving traffic to their websites. Stephanie says, "I believe
the Internet is an amazing portal through which we can connect with people way beyond our normal circles of connection, and it also gives us the
freedom to connect when the time is right for both parties."
Alan and Stephanie were initially drawn into the business opportunity because of their experiences with the products. Now they definitely see the benefit of having a business that grows not only by their efforts but also by the efforts of others with like interests. They are an incredible team, and we are proud that they are part of this company.

then teach others to do the same.
Barbara serves as a valuable member of our inaugural Independent Business Associate Advisory Council (IBAAC) and is a champion promoter and attendee of corporate events.
